Austintown accident: One person has died after a very bad accident on Route 46 and New Rd Thursday January 2, 2020.
According to investigators, a car and semi had collided at about 1pm on State Route 46 near New Road in Austintown. The crash killed the driver of the car. The driver of the semi was uninjured.
How the Austintown accident happened:
The car was headed northbound and the truck headed southbound when the car went left of center.
What caused the driver of the car to cross the centerline is not known at this time.
The Ohio State Patrol is handling the accident.
