Ravi Zacharias death hoax: Ravi Zacharias cancer battle update

“He continues to remain at home where he is surrounded by his close family; his children, grandchildren, and of course, his wife, Margie – all of whom have expressed such gratitude and thanks to you for all the messages that you’ve sent, and for all the encouragement that you’ve sought to impart.

Very often at times in the night or during the day, they actually read those messages out to him and he receives them with joy.

Please do continue in prayer. Pray also for those who are close to Ravi.

As you can imagine, we have so many mixed emotions at this time, but there is an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the way in which you continue to stand with us, support us, pray for us, and encourage us.” #ThankYouRavi

Ravi Zacharias death hoax: Ravi Zacharias cancer battle

Christian apologist Ravi Zacharias has been battling a rare form of bone cancer since March 2020 and was recently informed by doctors that his cancer has spread and there’s nothing more they can do medically.

The announcement from Ravi’s daughter, Sarah on May 8, 2020 read:

“Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for your faithful prayers for my dad and for my family in recent months as he has undergone back surgery and treatment for cancer. Truly, words fail to convey the depths of our gratitude for your many expressions of love.

We have just learned that while the tumor in my dad’s sacrum has been responding to the chemotherapy, the area where the cancer metastasized has actually worsened.

His oncologist informed us that this cancer is very rare in its aggression and that no options for further treatment remain. Medically speaking, they have done all they are able.

Ravi, Margie, and Naomi are returning from Houston and will remain at home in Atlanta, where our family can be together for whatever time the Lord gives us.

Ravi Zacharias bone cancer discovered by doctors was a cancerous tumor on the sacrum, a cancer called sarcoma. The sacrum is a shield-shaped bony structure located at the base of the lumbar vertebrae and is connected to the pelvis.

Please say a prayer for Ravi and his family.

  1. I cry to God for the healing of our dear Brother Ravi Z. He’s brought so much clarity and understanding of issues of faith and practice that face most of us today. His teachings are living in my mind “rent free”! Because of Christ “we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God” (Rom 5:1-5). YOU ARE LOVED, RAVI Z!

  4. Ravi has been such an inspiration to me and definitely has lived out the verse of being an imitator of God. May we endeavor to do the same. He lived a legacy and left a legacy for the kingdom of God. He can now be counted as one of the witnesses that surround us in cheering us on to complete God’s mission for our lives in expanding the kingdom of God on this earth as it already is in heaven. Blessings to all who who have sat at his feet to hear the wonderful Word of God!

  6. Dr. Ravi Zechariah, you have shown God’s light to many people who were in darkness with your immense God’s gift, in fact you are a light and lead multitudes into salvation. I am always broken by your humility before our great God. “God gives greater grace to the humble ” I have seen this verse in your life. Basically I got to believe in Jesus Christ from a Hindu background and I was strengthened very much in my faith because of your massages. I thank God for your life.

Thank you Ravi, your standing by the truth at all cost, your absolute descency and honesty, your sense of humour; I will never forget the joke about septic tank, Ha !, ha!, ha!, although it might be an odd time I believe that would make you laugh. I hate to say farewell, I have been listening to your messages for several years. I am sure your young friend that pass over, your mom, your dad will be saying welcome home, First and foremost JESUS CHRIST probably saying, “well done my son, well done”.
Again I pray that Christ releaves your pain, so you can be clear for the remaining of your time here, in the presence of your family. Your a good man Ravi, a godly man !!!

    • Ravi is leaving a legacy of help to God’s church in the defense of the faith. He majored on training men and women to follow him in ministry. I have been moved to pray for his health and safety many times. we need him today. Now it is up to us, ‘baptized in the place of those gone home” to replace him in our small way and be ready to give everyone who asks us an answer for the hope seen within us. Grateful for all of his life and work for us all.

  12. May the Lord be glorified for the unique and distinct ministry of Dr. Zacharias. His ministry challenged the mind and stirred the heart toward loving God and his word. We pray that he would sense the savior’s closeness and the comfort of the Holy Spirit even at times like this when health may be failing. Dr. Zacharias’s message left an indelible print on my soul and on my family’s hearts. Humbled to have been graced by his ministry…

  17. It is with great sadness for the passing of such great man who has touched the heart and soul of so many including me that I write to express my gratitude to our Lord Jesus and to Ravi for Ravi’s life
He was a giant that transcended his life span of 74 years as he did the space of his birth in India
His message has been an inspiration, coming from Cuba where communism has taken roots and where matters of the spirit has been tried to be solved with intellectual arguments, I have been empowered and weaponized greatly by his message
He has been always pointing to Jesus, his savior and mine as the life and the reason for life
Thank you Ravi, I salute you as the general you are knowing you are now placing your crown at the feet of your master and lord Jesus Christ
