Rasheed Stephens missing update: The Superior Police Department has responded to the desperate call for help to find Rasheed Stephens missing during the protests.
Comedian Rasheed Stephens was reported missing after he apparently flew from LA to Minnesota on Monday (June 1st) to protest.
Reports for help finding him say he ended up in Wisconsin and has since gone missing. Apparently the last time he was seen was somewhere between June 1st and June 3rd.

The Superior Police Department has spent the last several hours investigating the disappearance of Mr. Rasheed Stephens (pictured above) who was reportedly in the Superior area recently exercising his first amendment rights.
A detective was assigned to investigate.
Through this investigation we learned that neither the Superior Police Department nor the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (the county Superior is located in) have ever had contact with Mr. Stephens.
Specifically, there was no documentation or other record of any peace officer from our jurisdiction having contact with Mr. Stephens within the last 72 hours, or any record that we have ever had contact with anyone with the name “Rasheed Stephens” or similar spelling.
Mr. Stephens has never been lodged into the Douglas County jail. A check of the local hospitals (Essentia Health system or St. Luke’s hospital) revealed that neither hospital has any report or record of any unidentified/unresponsive or otherwise unable to communicate patients being admitted to the hospital within the last 72 hours.

A review of our calls for service within the past 72 hours showed that we have not effectuated any arrest or had any physical confrontation with anyone participating in any demonstration in the city of Superior.

We understand that this is a difficult and scary time for Mr. Stephen’s loved ones.We have been in contact with Law enforcement in California and have directed our patrol division to attempt to locate Mr. Stephens. If he is located by our department we will assist in any way needed to help him communicate with his loved ones.

“The man (in this) photo is named Rasheed Stephens, I was just informed that he was arrested four days ago for protesting in what is believed to be Superior, Wisconsin. He was last seen being roughed up by police. He has yet to call to the person with his phone and other belongings. PLEASE HELP ME FIND HIM.”
