Quinton Crawford death, obituary: Beloved Quinten Crawford died June 10, 2020 and Theodore James Lee jr has been arrested for his murder after the NC State shooting.
Theodore Lee, 23, is accused of shooting and killing his ex-girlfriend’s father Quinton Crawford, 55, on the N.C. State Centennial Campus.
According to a police release, an altercation between the men led to Lee pulling out a rifle and shooting Crawford while he was sitting in a vehicle.
Traci Crawford, Quinten Crawford’s wife, said her husband was at the university to break up a dispute between his daughter and her boyfriend.

Both Raleigh and NC State University police had responded just before 6:30 p.m. to the shooting along the 1200 block of Main Campus Drive.
Quintin Crawford, 55, was found dead in the front seat of his car near Capability Drive and Main Campus Drive on the Centennial Campus.
Officers later found Theodore Lee, who was taken into custody at 2610 Wolf Village Way and charged with murder.
Lee had remained on the scene after the shooting where he was arrested.
Crawford’s daughter, who had been in a relationship with Lee, was a passenger in the car but was not hurt.

Amazing how Crawford’s race wasn’t mentioned. Must be for 1 of 2 reasons. Quinten Crawford was white or black. Either way no big media deal. If Theodore Lee was white, THEN this would be a story. But the media only pay attention when its race baiting coverage is profitable. Black on black, yawn. Black on white YAWN. White on black, FAUX OUTRAGE. What a joke. BTW, guess my race?
Don’t know where to begin. I AM SICK TO MY DAMN STOMACHE about this!! Pap (is what I call him), was part of MY family since we were 18 yrs old. My sisters, Pap and I used to hang out at L A Cafe. WE ARE ALL Born and Raised Washingtonians! I am also, one of the people he stayed with when he came up to cut hair. I will CONTINUE to Pray, that EVERYONE involved in this BS is held Accountable.
