February 2006, 40 year old Pasinetta was found dead in her 41st and Lake St. home. She was well-known in local theater circles and performed with the John Beasley Theater and Workshop.

Prince left behind her 13-year-old son, Cameron Ammons with Marvin Ammons, who was killed in a high-profile police shooting during the October snowstorm of 1997.

Her death was quickly determined to be suspicious and was quickly linked to the shooting of 48-year-old Waddell Robinson.

Robinson was shot and killed five days before police found Prince’s body. Prince had posed for an advertisement for Robinson’s lingerie shop.

More than three years after Pasinetta Prince was found dead at her home, in June 2009, 45-year-old Patrick Bauldwin was arrested for Pasinetta’s murder.

Investigators said someone forced their way into her home and strangled her.

Pasinetta Prince’s mother identified murder suspect Patrick Bauldwin as a “former boyfriend”.

Pasinetta’s cousin John Beasley said:

“I’m really elated that the police have put a face on this guy and Pasinetta I think, it looks like she’s going to get some justice.

He was a former boyfriend, someone that she was having problems with at the time. He had been around so we knew who he was.”

During trial, Patrick Bauldwin was found guilty and sentenced to life with no chance of parole.

He will spend the rest of his life behind bars for the 2006 killing of local actress Pasinetta Prince.

Judge Patrick Mullen said  Bauldwin killed Pasinetta Prince by strangling her. The force he used was so “severe that the back of her larynx was badly bruised” and that it “took minutes where his hands were around Pasinetta’s neck causing her to pass out and die on the basement floor.”

May her soul continue to rest in peace.
