- Daughter-in-law of Dennis and Cheryl Lentz and Randy and Laura McGinnis.
- Sister-in-law of Brittani McCaig (Drew) and Parker Ballard.
- Aunt of Joslyn, Jade, Walker, Cody and Kailer. Niece of Kathy and Chuck Woods, Gale and Gene Lauer, and Lori Cianfrance.
- Cousin of Greg Woods, Jennifer Lamoreaux, Gina and Nicole Lauer, and Michael Hernandez.
Meggie Jo was an amazing person. She was a loving and dedicated caregiver, parent, daughter, sister and wife and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Megan graduated from Green Mountain High School in 2002. In 2006 she went on to graduate from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies.
Before her death, Megan was the Executive Director of Juniper Applewood Place Senior Living Community.
She was actively involved in her children’s activities, including gymnastics, cheerleading, and the team mom of the Bear Creek Aztecs baseball team.
