Reports online say he had swelling on the brain and after his death, his organs were donated. However, his official confirmed cause of death is not public.

Before Larry Da Leopard death, he was popularly known for covering every inch of his body with more than a thousand spots to become half man, half big-cat. He was a well-known character in Austin.

Lance Brieschke, Larry Da Leopard was the owner of the Telepathic Tattoo parlor in Austin.

A GoFundMe page in his honour raised $965. The R.I.P. Larry Leopard Memorial Fundraiser page has now been deactivated.

DailyMail reports that Larry had begun getting leopard tattoos at age 20 – a decision borne out of a desire to subvert society’s expectations. Five years later, he inked his face with the distinctive spots.

Larry recalled that when his parents first caught sight of the spots on his body, they wept.

For the next decade, Larry had little contact with his family, feeling hurt that they had failed to embrace his brand of self-expression and shunned him for desecrating his body.

‘It took them ten years to come round but now we’ve got a better relationship,’ he said. ‘They can see I’m doing alright for myself.’

As for the rest of the world’s reaction to his spots, tattoo artist Larry da leopard was barred from entering diners and even accused of being the devil.

That didn’t end his quest to etch his skin with some 1,000 spots, he even made the painful decision to ink his private parts.

Our deepest condolences and sympathy to his loved ones.

  3. Larry da Leopard was a horrific “steal your stuff then help you look for it” junkie, a deadbeat dad, domestic abuser, and a rapist as well. He was an opportunist, and could charm his way in with little to no effort if you had something he wanted. The folks leaving kind words here, it seems a majority of y’all had never even MET the monstrosity that was Larry da Leopard let alone knew anything beyond what was severely edited and regurgitated into several mini-features about him presented by a few D-list media outlets. I performed CPR on that piece of trash not once, but twice, when he overdosed in front of our customers and had to he revived while awaiting the arrival of emergency personnel, then would inevitably return a few hours later, after being released from the hospital, madder than a hornet, causing yet another less than pleasant scene as he screamed at everyone who chose to collaborate to effectively save his life just hours earlier, accusing them of “calling the cops on him”, rather than show any gratitude for not just letting him die that day. He was arrested while following, on foot, the mother of his 6<mo. old son, screaming, at her while she attempted to flee a physically abusive altercation with him, her face bloodied, baby in her arms, desperately attempting to seek protection from him for her and her infant son when the police intervened. He did not die of "brain swelling", he died of an overdose which left him hospitalized, then eventually died as a result of complications from drug use. Larry da Leopard was NOT a good dude.
