My girl Katie Jo was in a terrible accident! We don’t have details but we know she was unresponsive and lifelined to Lutheran. I am begging you for prayers! Please ask God to hold and heal her! Please help us!!!
Katie Jo, you are in the arms of Jesus. I can’t imagine the joy you are experiencing in heaven. You have been such a joy here on earth. I’m sad to see you go so soon but comforted in the fact that you are fully alive and rejoicing in heaven.
May your friends and family be comforted during this time. We will miss you. We know you are up there cheering us on with the rest of the saints up in heaven.
Thinking of you Jami Hueston Maynus and family. I’m so very sorry for your loss. May God grant you peace. ❤️
Oh prayer warriors…keep praying. Sometimes our complete healing is on the other side of Heaven…this young lady was taken so soon but is now in the arms of Jesus. Pray for her family as they miss her in their arms. My momma heart is aching so deeply. Here is the update just now from Katie’s aunt. Please continue to pray for all of their needs. Hug your loved ones…so tightly.
Please continue praying for the Maynus family in their loss of Katie Jo. Her aunt, Amanda Cruea, posted this:
“We cannot express our deepest appreciation to our tribe, our community, our family. Today has been the most difficult of days. With many more ahead. Thank you to everyone who has reached out, prayed, loved on our family.
Katie Jo was in an awful car accident today and sustained severe head and lung trauma. MGH EMS/FD did amazing, Lutheran Flight crew were awesome, and the Lutheran ER, trauma, and neurosurgery teams were quick, efficient, informative. The Chaplins took my anger and frustration like champs.
My sister and brother in law made the most heart wrenching decisions a parent will ever have to make. They did it with grace, faith, love.
This isn’t real. This isn’t real.
Katie Jo passed away at 6pm. She is the most precious, fun, lovable, amazing niece, daughter, friend, granddaughter… she is loved. So very loved.
And, we are so filled with joy that she knew Jesus. Do you? Talk to me if you question this.
Immediate needs: prayer for Jami and David.
Prayer for Katie’s strong heart to beat in her chest right up until organ donation can be fulfilled, could take up to 48 hours. Be watching for a meal train. Cash or gift cards dropped off on my front porch (212 E Pennsylvania Street Amboy).Organ donation- it’s a weirdly wonderful thing. Over the next 48 hours she will be under the loving care of the organ procurement team. She will greatly bless so many strangers in the next 2 days. I wish I could be a fly on the wall when those miracle phone calls come in. I wish they new the treasure that grew those organs for them and I hope they cherish them.
Love your people well. Thank you. Thank you.”
