Isabella Thallas had just celebrated her 21st birthday on 9th June 2020.

Michael Close Denver shooting in the 2900 block of North Huron Street at about 11:42 a.m Wednesday left one person killed and another wounded.
36 year old Michael Close was taken into custody about 1:30 p.m. by local law enforcement in Jefferson County off U.S. 285 after a search in which police officers warned residents to shelter inside and stay away from their windows.
Michael Close, 36, was arrested and is being held for investigation of first-degree murder and aggravated assault.
The victim, 26-year-old Darian Simon, was taken to the hospital is expected to survive.
Neighbor Ronan O’Shea, who lives nearby, said he heard six to 12 gunshots in rapid succession and that police officers flooded the neighborhood.
A motive for the attack was revealed as suspect Michael Close made his first appearance in Denver County Court on Thursday.
A probable cause (PC) statement from Denver Police says Simon told investigators he and his girlfriend were walking their dog, when Simon gave the dog a command to use the bathroom.
Simon said someone yelled at him from a ground floor apartment asking if he was going to train the dog or just yell at it.
Simon told police he tried ignoring the person in the apartment. Then he said he saw the person in the apartment pointing a gun at him, which he believed to be a pellet gun.
Simon then heard multiple gunshots and ran away until he couldn’t run any further due to injuries he sustained in the shooting.
The PC statement for the arrest of Close said Simon was shot in the leg and buttocks.
