Woke up to the news that a former coworker passed away last night in a horrible motorcycle accident. But she wasn’t just a coworker. She was my first boss at Herman Miller. She took a chance on me, and I’ll be forever grateful. She was more than a boss, she was a friend. Fly high, Eva Meekhof. You’ll forever be my Herman Miller “mom.” ❤️

As I sit and read the comments of those that were a part of Evas life I fight back tears . I did not know Eva but sadly I watched the horrible accident unfold in front of me on that late Sat afternoon. I can’t stop thinking of both driver
I worked with Eva at Herman Miller for many years. She was smart, witty, humorous and had a great relationship with so many people making things happen by tackling situations from every angle. She was loved by so many and left too soon with much more life ahead of her. I know she missed her dad very much and is with him now. Rest in peace Eva.
I worked with Eva at Bretford after she left Herman Miller. She was always so sweet and funny. She had a kind heart. My condolences and sympathies to her son and her family. She will be missed.
