Ashley lost her life after a tragic car accident yesterday morning in Taunton. She had hit a tree. Her friend is in critical Condition at RI Hospital. The police are investigating the crash.

My sister Ashley Gouveia lost her life on 6/20/2020 in a car accident. Ashley leaves behind her son Amir who’s 2yrs old.
Being a single mother Ashley wasn’t able to save money for this day. She worked to give everything she could give Amir. Ashley was a mother and a father to Amir. She didn’t think this day would come so soon for her so she never saved up money to bury herself and she didn’t have life insurance.
Let me tell you about my beautiful sister. She was so full of life. She was an amazing person, beautiful inside and out. She had a smile that would light up a room. She had a beautiful personality.
One of the most caring people I know. She would give her last $1 to help someone else. Ashley had a heart of gold. I ask you all to please help my family with whatever you can afford. I promise you my family will appreciate it very much and never forget it.
We just want to give my sister the service she deserves. Whatever is left over after her services we will put all the money in a account for Amir so we can give him what she always wanted to give him.
As Amir’s Godmother I will be his Guardian and I promise you I will put that money away for him for college. As I am going to do everything I can to help him grow up to be the man my sister wanted him to be.
I don’t have a child of my own this is new to me. I am going to try and be as good as my sister was to Amir. Thank You all in advance. We appreciate you ❤️

Ash you will truly be missed babygirl. After I heard what happened I couldn’t even believe what I saw on my Facebook feeds all I saw was everything about you I couldn’t believe what I was seeing this is all a shock to everyone. Last time we spoke was last month and you just got your nails done and was happy as always with that beautiful smile that brights up the room. My prayers and thoughts are with the Gouveia Family 🙏🏽🙏🏽
