On Tuesday night, the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue along with partner agencies responded to a boat collision in South Florida waters, near Monument Island in Miami Beach at approximately 9 p.m.
The accident left one person injured. The Miami boat accident involved two boats and one person was ejected, officials said.
Divers located that person in the water and was sent to the hospital – Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Investigation into the crash is ongoing.
