Chase Watson Greer cause of death – dead, obituary, funeral plans: Beloved Chase Watson of Greer, died May 24, 2020 of blunt force injuries from a motorcycle accident. He was only 29 years old.
The motorcycle accident crash happened just before 8 p.m. on North Parker Road near Phillips Trail.
Watson was on a 2006 Ducati motorcycle which was the only vehicle involved.
According to troopers, Chase Watson was traveling northbound when he ran off the right side of the road, hit a ditch and was thrown off the motorcycle.
Troopers said Watson was not wearing a helmet.

Born in Greer, Chase Watson is survived by:
- his mother: Donna Gail Godfrey Lark (Wayne);
- Father: John Terry Watson, Jr. (Cindy);
- two sons: Jax Douglas Watson and Wyatt Chase Watson;
- one sister: Jessica Watson;
- one brother: John Terry “T. Bob” Watson, III;
- and paternal grandparents John Terry Watson, Sr. (Ruby) and Darlene Huggins (Jesse).
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Jesse and Grace Mulligan Godfrey.
Chase Watson’s family will receive friends Thursday, May 28, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2020 at Little Mountain Baptist Church, Wellford. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Greer.
