Cassandra Brielle Hatch cause of death – dead, obituary, funeral plans: Sad news that Cassandra Brielle Hatch passed away broke on Saturday, June 20.

Cassandra Brielle Hatch, 22, of Gilbert, Arizona, was sadly killed when the vehicle in which she was a passenger was struck by a Union Pacific train on Saturday, June 20, near Mona.

Ms. Hatch was in the front passenger seat when a car driven by Jacob Michael Cottle, 22, of La Plata, Maryland, was hit by a northbound train at about 5 p.m. at an intersection where the tracks cross Burraston Road.

Ms. Hatch was transported to Utah Valley Medical Center, where she tragically passed away.

Mr. Cottle was in critical condition at the same hospital.
