Well got sad/bad news on Monday morning, my niece Samantha Monaco lost her husband Anthony Monaco Sunday night.
They were married for 6 years I think and had 2 beautiful children (3 & 5 months). Anthony was a proud landscaping specialist and his work proved it. I really never got to see him during family functions because he was always working to take care of his Family and the business.
The only thing that we ever talked about was golf. He’d always ask if I played, where and what did I shoot. So my tribute to you Anthony will be on the courses, looking at those lines in the fairways and the short cut smooth as glass fast greens.

My heart is absolutely shattered. Though we never stayed in touch on a routine basis, I think of all the hilarious times we’ve ran into each other in the most random places over the last decade, and how excited I was to see your face.
We lived on the same, yet most random street growing up, and I will never forget your and Mike’s incredible love and generosity towards my sister when she really needed it the most. You were and always will be remembered as one of the kindest, least judgmental people to ever walk this planet.
I can’t even put into words the sympathy I feel for your wife, your kids, your entire family and all of your friends right now. I was so angry after trying to process this tragedy that I continued to do my flower beds all night long (like 1am) instead of finishing tomorrow.
And until right now, I also didn’t know you were a landscaper, and a damn good one at that. So considering the coincidence I’ll make a deal with you, say hi to Sara for me, and I’ll put awesome stripes in my lawn tomorrow just for you 🙂.
You were one of a kind. God bless your family Anth, my heart goes out to them more than you could ever imagine right now.
One of the last times we talked we were laughing about how we triple cut our houses just because we like our lines to show over anyone else’s. You better believe I double cut everything for you today to make sure you can see them from up there
