Wes Rollo lost his life today from an automobile accident occurring Sunday.
Wes was a cancer survivor and he and his family was part of our little group of friends at St Jude Hospital.
The first time I met this kid he was smiling up at me about to start the battle of his young life. He beat the cancer and grew into a fine young man. Its been emotional day thinking about him. 💔I’m sure Kenlie welcome him home with a smile and hug😇❤️
This is the face of a very happy fisherman! He spent these last two months fishing his tail off and enjoying social distancing to the fullest. This morning at 10:19, Wes stepped into glory. I’m certain he ran to Jesus asking where the best fishing was. I can tell you that the pain we feel right now is the worst we’ve ever experienced. It’s suffocating. But our son has obtained his rightful spot in heaven and I’m very jealous of that. I’m jealous that they get to enjoy him and his goodness, his playfulness and his mischievous joking around. I’m also certain he will aggravate angels everywhere, because that’s what he was good at. Most of all, I know he’s found a spot by the River of Life with a box full of choice baits and numerous rods just in case there’s reeds, grass, deep water or rocks that he needs to fish around. Wes, mama and daddy love you more than we could have ever put into words. But I’m certain that now you understand what perfect love is. Rest easy my precious boy. You were everything to your dad and I. Oh, and one more thing…play with sweet Gunny in his dreams. He will miss his boy.
