Sierra Death Generator was created by Foone Turing to make fake video game screenshots.
SierraDeathGenerator has got the weird name because it started as the “SierraDeathGenerator” as the original sort of thing it made was the death-screens from Sierraadventure games.
it started out as the “SierraDeathGenerator” after these distinctive “deathscreens” in sierra games.
Since it quickly branched out into all kinds of games, the “Sierra” part became pointless and was dropped from the name, but “Death Generator” stuck.

What is Sierra Death Generator created Foone Turing – Why the weird name
Programmer Foone Turing open-source Death Generator tool first began with Police Quest 2 in 2017 as a generator for death screens from Sierra games.
Turing said in a 2019 interview with TheVerge that he plans on adding a lot more games to the Death Generator as well as documentation for others to contribute their own generators, to speed up the process.
There exist a lot of meme generators on the internet, but few are better organized or authentically made than the Death Generator.
