Sewing Bee Lorna dies – cause of death – dead, obituary: Great British Sewing Bee presenter Lorna Monje died 21st February, 2016 after a long battle with Aplastic Anaemia. She was 69 years old.
Lorna Monje lived in Canterbury, United Kingdom. She was well known as one of the stars of the Great British Sewing Bee in 2015. But to her family, friends and colleagues, she was the most optimistic, thoughtful and friendly person you could ever meet.

The Great British Sewing Bee paid tribute to the Series 3 finalist Lorna Monje.
Lorna was a much loved contestant, with her amazing dress sense and stitchy know-how.
Her talents led her to reach the final, along with being an inspiration to many other stitchers. Her flair for life was certainly reflected in the joy that she found in her creative talents.
As well as sewing, Lorna had many passions, including travelling and painting, and would often be known to practice all three where she could.
May her soul rest in perfect peace.
