Samara Manger-Weil Deadliest Catch death happened May 23, 2020 after an accident. To honour her, a Deadliest Catch in memory of Samara Leilani Manger-Weil aired last night.

She was only 28 years old.

 

On Deadliest Catch season 15, Samara was one of the production managers from September 2018 to January 2019.

She also worked on three of the Deadliest Catch TV movies – Deadliest Catch: Tortured to Greatness, Strategy & Deception, and Unfinished Business.

Samara obtained a BSc in Cinema and Photography from Ithaca College. She studied there from 2009 to 2013.

  2. I always look up a person who has passed away and a memorium is given on the show. Samara looks like a lovely angel and although surely missed, is a beautiful angel to look over us. Please smile for her, be happy for her.

  3. It’s so senseless for a young person to pass. With all the schooling she achieved to get her where she was, too. Terrific talent. I’m so very sorry for her family and friends. Sadly there will be no more greatnesses to be shown. Let her be remembered for her accomplishments.
