Ryan’s childhood friend shared news about Ryan Cleghorn death on Facebook in a statement that read:
Rest in Peace to my first best friend growing up Ryan Cleghorn. We started being friends in first grade. You were the first person’s house I was ever invited to.
There is a lot of history between us. I remember in 2nd when i first got close to him I told him you are gonna be my lil buddy (he was tiny) and he said why and I said “because you move like a puppet”. There was just always something precious and pure about you.
When I started hanging around the “wrong crowds” I always kept you at a distance because I always wanted to be able to protect you and keep the innocence intact.
So now in my 26 years of life, i have lost my dad, my best friend from grade school Ryan Cleghorn, my best friend from high school, Eric Fisher …I sure hope my dream team of angels are putting in some work for me ❤️
[I usually would never write something like this but I have too much love, too many memories, and respect for you to not say something.

So sad to learn the news of Ryan, such a great guy who cared for everyone and had such an uplifting spirit, he was so fun. My love goes out to the Cleghorn’s and all the Toledoans who were lucky enough to know him. Bottomless JagerBombs from now on buddy.
