I am sick… I can’t believe God took Rakeem Poundgame Dickerson from us. I remember just a few years ago we were all having so much fun at the Nike Basketball Camps. I can’t believe this. You were just telling me to stay out of trouble and keep doing what I’m doing because it was inspiring to have someone come from Little Rock doing positive stuff. You told me to set an example for others, and that you never know who you could be inspiring. I remember you use to always smile and just brighten the whole room up. Watching you play ball was amazing too. I truly looked up to you and how cool you were big bro. Especially since we were from the same city. Watching you at the Dunbar league with my dad made me so happy. It was an honor to be close to you Keem. I’ll never stop smiling and inspiring because thats what you would tell me if you were still here. 💔
Man you did everything right, you didn’t do drugs (not judging anybody), you never went to jail, you went to school, you didn’t beef with anybody, you were well liked, you had good energy everywhere you went, you lived life to the fullest, I can’t say enough about you man, we all are gonna miss you so much,
I remember watching you win that state championship, the group message will never be the same.
Remember I told you that you so popular you should rap lol, all I can hear is your voice saying “BRO”😂 RIP my brother the GOAT Rakeem Poundgame Dickerson
Today has been challenging. My mindset in my career was tested like no other. I told my girls I was going to work a little early to see how Rakeem Poundgame Dickerson was doing. I knew he was coming to my unit. I felt it. Right when I arrived I got the news. This is a saddening day for the city. Challenging for me to grieve but also continue to be a professional and take care of my patients. This hit home tough. So many unforgettable memories. God is so good to have him here with family. Before they took him I looked at him, talked to him and I told him “you got the bity shook bro, rest easy and watch the city for us” ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Whew.
