“It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the loss of a family member [Saturday] night.
Kenny Robinson #24 was a part of Twinsanity and was truly one of my favorite players on the BB team. He was a great teammate and a pleasure to coach.
He overcame all odds and graduated this past year from Mercyhurst. This accomplishment speaks volumes to the type of person he was.
He was a true college athlete who will not be forgotten by his high school brothers or college teammates.
His infectious smile will always be embedded in my mind.

As a coach you have so many things to be thankful for. Seeing kids reach their dreams and being apart of those journeys are the greatest gift I could receive.
And sharing this picture of one of my best memories Kenny Robinson went to Alderdice in the city league then to Mercyhurst Northeast and graduated from Mercyhurst 3 days ago.
Just 2 days he called me to ask to help coach this year. What a feeling knowing you meant enough he wanted to come and help.
Sounds like a dream until this morning when I received the news that god must of needed a leader and took Kenny from us.
Heaven gained a soldier and am thankful to be part of his life here.
RIp #24 Anytime in the future I hit a rough spot I’ll look up for that smile
RIP to @HurstAthletics @HurstBaseball Alum: Kenny Robinson. Our prayers and heart go out to the Robinson Family and #LakersNation
