Kayky Brito Gravemente Ferido em Acidente na Barra da Tijuca, Zona Oeste do Rio
Na madrugada de sábado, o ator Kayky Brito, de 34 anos, foi atingido por um veículo na Avenida Lúcio Costa, próximo ao número 4.700, na Barra da Tijuca, Zona Oeste do Rio de Janeiro.
De acordo com a secretaria municipal de saúde, ele está em estado crítico e foi admitido na UTI. O ator sofreu múltiplas lesões corporais e um trauma craniano.

Kayky foi atingido por um motorista de aplicativo enquanto atravessava a rua, próximo ao condomínio Barra Bela.
O motorista foi levado para a 16ª Delegacia de Polícia (Barra da Tijuca) e ao Instituto Médico Legal (IML) no centro do Rio, onde foi submetido ao teste de alcoolemia. Segundo a Polícia Militar, não foi constatado o consumo de álcool pelo motorista envolvido no acidente.
O corpo de bombeiros foi chamado por volta de 1h da manhã, e o jovem foi resgatado e levado para o Hospital Miguel Couto, em Leblon, na Zona Sul da cidade.
De acordo com Ângelo José Lages Machado, chefe da 16ª Delegacia de Polícia, o motorista de aplicativo foi acusado de lesão corporal no trânsito.
Antes de ser transportado pelos militares, o ator apresentou dificuldades respiratórias. Kayky é irmão da atriz Sthefany Brito.
Um dos papéis notáveis do ator foi na novela “Chocolate com Pimenta” em 2003, quando interpretou o personagem Bernadete, um menino que havia sido criado como uma menina.

Kayky was reportedly hit by a ride-sharing driver while crossing the street, near the Barra Bela condominium.
The driver was taken to the 16th Police Precinct (Barra da Tijuca) and to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) in downtown Rio, where they underwent an alcohol test. According to the report, no alcohol consumption was detected in the driver involved in the accident.

The fire department was called around 1 a.m., and the young man was rescued and taken to Miguel Couto Hospital in Leblon, in the South Zone of the city.
