Jas Waters suicide cause of death is now confirmed. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner Coroner’s Office has now confirmed the case is closed, determining that JasFly died by suicide by hanging.

Beloved Jasmine Waters aka Jas Fly made this tweet on her @JasFly verified account on April 25, 2020, more than a month before her tragic unexpected death that has devastated her loved ones and fans.

The tweet immediately drew condolences from social media and sparked concerns about Jas Waters cause of death.

At this time, official word on beloved writer JasFly cause of death, how she died is suicide. Reports on social media of people associating her passing with suicide are confirmed.

Our hearts break for the grieving family, friends and loved ones and we urge that their privacy please be respected.

Unfortunately I’ve fallen victim to a really elaborate extortion plot that took advantage of a long standing real life friendship with a celeb in order to obtain personal pics & vids of me.

It’s been devastating. Humiliating. Violating. And really really scary.

As it got scarier for me, I accused my friend of involvement and so I want to publicly apologize to him for not believing him when he said he wasn’t involved and for cc’ing him on a bunch of unsolicited nudes.

I was being threatened. It’s been a lot.

I’m saying something now to end the extortion. I’ve worked too hard on myself, my life and my career to have someone hold me against me.

I want to thank my family and friends for their support. I’ve been driven from my home in fear and they have been there for me every step.

I know, this sounds insane because it’s been FUCKING INSANE. And I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

But if you take nothing from this, please let this serve as a reminder not to ever let anyone own you. Ever. Now
