Harvey Sandler along with his wife Phyllis were among Boca Raton’s largest philanthropists. The Sandler family has donated over 20 million dollars to Boca Raton Community Hospital.
The Sandler’s are longtime Boca Raton residents living in a 15,000 square foot mansion in Saint Andrews Country Club.
Harvey had survived a brain tumor in 2004.
Together Harvey Sandler along with his wife Phyllis have named the Phyllis and Harvey Sandler Pavilion at the Lynn Cancer Center and The Phyllis Sandler Center for Living Well at the Boca Raton Regional Hospital.
They also named and endowed The Phyllis and Harvey Sandler Center for Jewish Life Enhancement at the Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community Center.
The Sandlers are also one of the largest contributors to the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County and created the organization’s Sandler Family Major Gifts annual event.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
