George Canseco accident death – dead, obituary: George Canseco, correctly spelt Jorge Acosta Canseco of Carol Stream died June 12, 2020 after a tragic accident.
Police said the crash occurred about 6:25 a.m. when the Infiniti G37X 20-year-old Jorge Acosta-Canseco of Carol Stream was in rammed into the back of a Freightliner box truck.
The accident happened on westbound North Avenue just west of Bennet Drive in Carol Stream.
The driver of the Infiniti was Jorge Acosta Canseco and he was killed, pronounced dead at the scene.
His passenger sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. His identity and status are unknown at this time.
The truck driver was not injured. The crash remains under investigation.

I remember George as Gato. My brothers and I lived across the fence, along with our other friends, who were also friends of Gato’s, Kevin, and Irvin. We would all meet up after school or sometimes all day in the summer and play outside. We would either be riding bikes, swimming, or playing soccer. Gato was always the most calm, joyful, and sweetest. He was the youngest but was never a bother. His presence was so comforting and I loved how he admired wanting to spend time with his older brothers, no matter where it was or what they were doing… as long as he got to join. I will always remember how much we all enjoyed him tagging along and being with all of us. I will never forget his kind smile and joyful spirit.
I’m so sorry for your loss I know how it feels to lose someone you love you will be in my prayers everyday. He’s in a better place now. And we will see him again one day. Even thought I don’t know him I started crying but I hope you feel better and everything will be ok. We will support you through everything
