Cash Dylan Cover accident death, obituary: Beloved Cash Dylan Cover, correctly spelt as Cash Dillon died June 3, 2020 after he was accidentally shot in the chest at his home.
The young boy from Kamas was only 11 years old.
Cash is survived by his parents, his brother and best friend Joshua Cover and sister Daija Cover.
Funeral services hold Wednesday, June 10, 2020. The viewing will take place at 11:30 – 12:30 pm at Crandall Funeral Home at 105 East Center Street, Kamas, UT.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm at the South Summit Football Field at 45 South 300 East, Kamas, UT.
Following the services, we will directly proceed to the Francis Cemetery 2585 South State Road 35, Francis, UT. After the graveside service a luncheon will take place at the DeJoria Center at 970 North Sate Road 32, Kamas, UT.
All services will take place outside and casual dress is required. Any youth attending please wear your football jersey or any sports jersey that you have worn while playing.

Deseret reports that according to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, Cash, his older brother and mother were outside the home prior to the incident doing chores.
Sheriff’s Lt. Andrew Wright said:
When they were done, the boys asked their mother if they could get BB guns from the house and shoot them outside.
Cash, however, went into the bedroom and grabbed a real handgun, not a BB gun. After walking out of the bedroom into the hallway, Cash was shot, prompting a scream from his brother who was also inside the house.
Their mother came running into the house when she heard the screams and found Cash.
One of the first arriving deputies to the scene is also a paramedic and did everything he could to try and save Cash,. But the boy died a short time later from his injury.
Whether Cash knew he was grabbing a real gun or if he mistook it for a BB gun was unknown Thursday. Investigation was continuing.
