According to a release by Queensland Police, early investigations suggest just before 11.50am this morning, four people were travelling in a Toyota Landcruiser along a dirt track when it hit a ditch and rolled.

The driver and a passenger, both aged 16, were transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Two boys, aged 16 and 10, died at the scene.

Identities of the victims are not public at this time.

Investigations into the circumstances of the accident continue.

  1. Our deepest sympathy. The boy was a friend and a son and the devastation is deeply felt. I pray for the families. Tragically gone way too soon. He will be missed so incredibly much. A gigantic loss.
