Caitlin Speck death: Caitlin Speck died June 6, 2020 after she was allegedly murdered by her husband Matthew Speck in a domestic violence incident.

Bailey Mae, her dog also died.

Caitlin Speck husband, Matthew Speck has been arrested in connection to Caitlin Speck death after she was found deceased inside a Hanahan home early Friday morning.

According to Chief Dennis Turner with the Hanahan Police Department, officers responded to a residence on Raptor Drive in the Eagle Landing community around 6:00 a.m. and located the deceased individual.

Matthew Speck has been charged with murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, and ill treatment towards animals.

A GoFundMe page launched in Caitlin Conrad Speck honour has raised over $12,000 and reads:

Caitlin loved crafting and reading. She loved supernatural movies and tv. She loved to spread awareness on infertility, endometriosis, and mental health. She was an open book and made friends everywhere she went, even if she never met them in person. She absolutely loved to laugh. Anyone who knew her, knew how much she loved her family, her friends, but most of all, her fur babies, Neo, Gypsy, and Bailey Mae.

Sadly, we tragically lost Caitlin and Bailey Mae on 6/5/20 due to domestic violence. Her family is left to pick up the financial obligations brought on by this tragedy. All funds will be used for funeral expenses. Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.

A very sweet friend of mine was tragically murdered by her husband yesterday. Caitlin Conrad Speck was one of the most uplifting souls I’ve known the last 10+ years.

We met in an online mom group for infertility and shared our many struggles of various issues. She was like me, suffering from painful endometriosis.

While I was blessed with children, she was not but she had her beautiful puppy children. Even her baby dog was taken at the same time. I’m so upset I didn’t know her struggle with domestic violence.

I’ll post the go fund me in the comment section for her funeral. She loved watching my kids grow even with her issues. She was so selfless.

I’ve never met this girl….yet she was there when I got shadow and sent him treats!!! She was there when I had to put him down due to aggression….helped throughout the pain with her own experiences….sent cards and messages to cheer me on despite my pain….then when Ari passed she sent this amazing willow figurine!!

I absolutely love Willow figurines all of them!! This girl didn’t know me at all yet took her time and money to help me through some of the most difficult times in my life….

Caitlin Conrad Speck you were and are my angel!!! This girl touched so many lives all over !!! She was taken suddenly by domestic violence…. Her and her beautiful chocolate lab that she referred to as her chocolate unicorn 😭❤️..

Caitlin Speck I’m truly heartbroken when I found out the news last night. We bonded a deep level with our loss of our dogs last year..

We would spend hours on video chat, we had all these plans for my next dog and unfortunately that won’t be happening. If you knew her, you knew what a sweet soul she was.

Right before she got her new pup Bailey Mae we had a long conversation about a middle name for Bailey and I told her I would be honored if Bailey would take Syrah middle name. For some people, it sounds weird, but we both bonded so deeply with our love for our dogs.

I’m truly devastated that she has happened to you and Bailey Mae but both of you are with Loki and my Syrah Mae. 💔

We are so saddened to hear the news of Bailey Mae and her mom, Caitlin Conrad Speck. They were our neighbors and brought the most joy.
