Anton Walkes cause of death was a boat crash accident. Beloved Anton Walkes died January 19, 2023 at the age of 25.
According to the Miami Police, Walkes was involved in a boat crash in south Florida on Wednesday evening. Two boats had crashed near Miami Marine Stadium Wednesday afternoon. Walkes was reported to be found unconscious, and he received CPR from Miami Fire Rescue
Walkes’ current team, MLS side Charlotte FC, sadly confirmed Anton Walkes death on social media in a statement that read:
“We are deeply saddened to share that Anton Walkes has tragically passed away this morning. May he rest in peace.”
Before his death, Walkes had joined the team last December, after he was selected by them in the MLS Expansion Draft. As a youngster, Anton Walkes played for Tottenham Hotspur.
