As we mourn the loss of a member of the class of 2020, Alex Sweigart, we wanted to share a picture shared with us by Carl Wilkerson. We will always remember that smile. Thinking of all who knew and loved this great young man.
We share this with heavy hearts for the loss of one of our students. The following is a message shared by Ada Bulldogs Superintendent Skilliter.
Dear Bulldog Community, We were saddened to learn of the death of one of our 2020 graduates, Alex Sweigart, in a car crash. Alex was one of the nicest young men you’d ever want to meet. Alex graduated from Ada and also from Apollo Career Center in May. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this most difficult time. The West Ohio Critical Incident Stress Management Team has been contacted and is setting up an opportunity for students (Ada and Apollo classmates are welcome) to drop in at the Ada United Methodist Church, tomorrow, Tuesday, June 30, 2020, from 1-3 P.M. Counselors and other interventionists will be available from 1-3 PM, and students are welcome to stop in during that time. We will communicate details about services as they become available to us. In the meantime, we will hold this family in our hearts as they process this loss. We are so grateful for this tight knit community. Yours, Mrs. Skilliter
