Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord… Rev. 14:13

Lord Jesus, I thank You for people like Aaron Borchelt and the example of Your love and care he was to me and so many others. Knowing Aaron was another reminder that You give me more than I deserve. Thank you for the way he faithfully served the LCMS Youth Gathering and so many people here in St. Louis and abroad.

Thank You for calling Aaron to your saving grace in his baptism and using him to reflect Your life and love while he walked this earth. I know it feels too soon to those who knew him, but we trust in Your perfect timing.

It is with mixed emotions that I post per the loss of my friend, Aaron Borchelt. So many wonderful memories at Teens Encounter Christ (TEC).

I remember us rewriting the TEC songbook, years ago, and Aaron telling me we needed to do it while having Ted Drewes as inspiration! 😁😍. (For those outside of STL, that is incredible frozen custard!).

A man of faith in God and lived as an example of Christ’s love. Although he has lost his battle with ALS, he is singing with Pastor Ron, right now. Love and blessings to all this Advent Season.
