Funke Akindele sparks reactions with video of worship at Celestial Church

Actress turned politician Funke Akindele has sparked reactions with a video of herself worshipping at the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC).

In the video making rounds on social media, the actress is seen, calling on the clergy of the the church to pray for her so she can excel in all her endeavours.

According to the video posted on Sunday by CCC Wonderland Parish on @weintheccc Instagram handle, the 45-year-old said she would be associated with the Church publicly, henceforth, which was greeted with an applause from the congregation.

The Lagos state deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), also disclosed that she was born and raised in CCC, adding that her case could be likened to a lost sheep who has returned home.

“I was born and raised in Celestial. My situation was like that of a lost sheep that God calls back home,” she said.

A video of the actress in what seemed like a trance caught the attention of many who reacted on Instagram.
