Sierra Vista shooting: Shooting in Sierra Vista AZ – what happened

Sierra Vista shooting: A fatal shooting in Sierra Vista AZ happened shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2019.

The Police Department is investigating after responding to a report of a man with a firearm at the Vista Transit Center.

After arriving on scene, officers discovered one person deceased, this person had suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

A second person suffered a single gunshot wound and was transported to Canyon Vista Medical Center in preparation for air transport to a medical facility in Tucson.

Police are not looking for any other additional suspects at this time. They also do not believe there is any further danger to the public.
