Sanwo-Olu donates N100m to victims of Ajegunle spare parts market fire
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state has donated N100 million to traders whose goods were burnt at Akere Spare Parts Market, Ajegunle.
On Wednesday, March 8, goods worth millions of naira were destroyed in a fire incident at the market in the Apapa area of the state.
Sanwo-Olu visited the site of the fire accident on March 15 to access the damage and also kick off the foundation for the renovation of the market.
The Director of Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye, said the firefighters promptly contained the ranging fire and prevented it from spreading wild.
Goods worth millions of naira were destroyed in a fire incident that occurred at the market on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
Sanwo-Olu also kicked off the foundation for the renovation of the market.
