Pastor Uche Aigbe arrested for carrying Ak-47 rifle during sermon
Uche Aigbe, the Presiding Pastor of House on the Rock, Abuja who was seen in a viral video hanging an AK-47 rifle on his shoulders during a church service on Sunday, has been arrested by the Police.
According to reports, the cleric was detained alongside one Inspector Musa Audu who handed the AK-47 to him for the purpose of illustrating his sermon on the pulpit.
Aigbe and Audu are in the custody of the Intelligence Response Team, Force Intelligence Bureau, Garki, Abuja, it was learnt.
Inspector Audu now faces dismissal for his indiscretion as he will be facing an orderly room trial for handing over his rifle to the man of God.
According to reports, the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, Sadiq Abubakar, has recommended the dismissal of the Inspector for handing his rifle to the pastor to the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba.
Aigbe reportedly carried the gun while preaching a sermon on how Christians should guard their faith.
