That story is a hoax. The rapper is very much alive and kicking well.

Nle Choppa dead?

Rumours that Nle Choppa was found dead was started on a hoax website who reported that Bryson Potts also known as “NLE Choppa” was found dead at 20.

According to the fake story:

Police say there was a call about 3 shots by Rodeo Drive LA and when they got to the crime scene, there was 2 suspects, still no sign of the victims who shot and killed Bryson Potts, we’ll update later on.

That story is not true. Nle Choppa is alive and very well.

17 year old Bryson Potts better known as NLE Choppa (formerly known as YNR Choppa), is an American rapper and songwriter based in Memphis, Tennessee.

He is best known for his 2019 breakout single “Shotta Flow”, which was certified platinum by the RIAA. Potts is of Jamaican ancestry.

He was raised in Memphis, attending Cordova High School while also playing basketball. He began freestyling with friends at the age of 14 and started taking music seriously at 15.

Thanks to singles like “Camelot” and his first major hit, “Shotta Flow,” NLE Choppa has become one of the biggest breakout rappers of 2019.

His music videos are racking up hundreds of millions of views on YouTube alone, and he’s just getting started. In the blink of an eye, NLE Choppa went from a Memphis high school student to a viral sensation.
