Nigerian man mourns wife who died 11 days after their wedding

A Nigerian man identified as Idris Elmustapha Daja is mourning the demise of his wife, Maryam Muh’d Liman, who passed on eleven days after they tied the knot.

Idris and Maryam got married on January 6, 2023, in Niger State and she died on Wednesday, January 18.

She was laid to rest at the Gbakungu burial ground after a funeral prayer at Hajia Fatima Madugu’s residence along Okada Road, Minna on Wednesday morning.

“We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. 11 days of Marriage, I lost her today,” Idris wrote on Facebook.
