Walter dog dead hoax explained: The Walter dog dead pictures went viral on Twitter after a claim saying Pana Walter, the meme dog people use in making staring memes has passed away.
The truth however is that the meme dog was never named “Pana Walter” and the dog in the image on the left is named Billy who saved his owner AND IS ALSO ALIVE.
Billy was shot January 14, 2020 during an armed robbery in West Philadelphia.
Police said the incident happened just before 2 a.m., near the intersection of 48th and Osage streets.
A 25-year-old man was walking his dog when two men approached him, one armed with a gun. According to investigators, the suspects stole a phone and shot the dog.
The injured dog was rushed to Penn Vet and was taken into surgery.
Walter dog dead hoax explained: Pana Walter dog is NOT dead (PROOF)
