In 2015, Erik Roner, a professional skier and avid BASE jumper, who was known for being part of “Nitro Circus,” an MTV show centered around Travis Pastrana and his crew of extreme sports athlete friends, tragically died in a skydiving accident.
39 year old Erik Roner, of Tahoe City, died during a skydiving accident at a golf course in Squaw Valley, about 5 miles from Lake Tahoe’s northwest shore.
Roner was part of a group conducting a skydiving performance before a golf tournament when he hit a tree while trying to land and became entangled high above ground.

Travis Alan Pastrana (born October 8, 1983) is an American professional motorsports competitor and stunt performer who has won championships and X Games gold medals in several disciplines, including supercross, motocross, freestyle motocross, and rally racing.
Travis Pastrana runs a show called Nitro Circus, and has competed in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, Camping World Truck Series, Global RallyCross Championship, and the Monster Jam circuit.
Pastrana replicated three of legendary daredevil Evel Knievel’s most famous jumps without injury in record-breaking fashion while in Las Vegas.
Travis Pastrana is 36 years old and is in no way dead. Travis Pastrana death news is a hoax. He is alive.
