Terry Turtle death, obituary: Terry Turtle of the Virginia rock duo Buck Gooter died December 2019 after a brief battle with an extremely aggressive cancer.
He was 67 years old. A Terry Turtle Memorial Fund GoFundMe page has been launched to raise funds for various organizations that Terry supported or wanted to support.
The GoFundMe page reads:
Terry Turtle was a compassionate and generous person, who regularly donated what little extra he had to various causes that he believed in. He was mostly concerned with helping children, animals and the environment.
When Terry became sick, his plan upon recovery was to become much more active with volunteering and helping people. This dream gave him a lot of hope and strength in the hospital.
By donating to the Terry Turtle Memorial Fund you can help fulfill his dream.
We plan to donate all of the money from this campaign to various organizations that Terry supported or wanted to support. A full list of organizations will be compiled once we finish navigating through this sensitive time.
Thank you.

There was so much hope in Terry Turtle. He was a restless creator and good friend. At all times, he was crafting something – a new song, a drawing, a joke.
Constant generation. That he got snatched away only a few years after getting sober feels like a cheap shot from the fates.
