Beloved actor Michael Angelis died May 30 2020 suddenly while at home with his wife Jennifer Khalastchi.
Michael was the younger brother of late actor Paul Angelis, who died in 2009 at the age of 77.

Coronation Street actress Helen Worth, who plays Gail Platt, was married to Michael Angelis from 1990 to 2001.
Before that, Helen Worth and Michael were in a relationship for 21 years, and were married for 11 years.
However, Michael admitted to Helen Worth that he had an affair in 1995, that Helen later forgave him for. The pair eventually called it quits after Michael confessed to having an affair with Jennifer.
In an interview with The Mirror in 2001, Helelen spoke about her split from Micheal and said:
Things hadn’t been right for some time’ but ‘didn’t think it was serious’.
‘Nothing can ever prepare you for the day your husband sits you down and tells you he is having an affair.
‘My marriage was everything to me. It was the foundation on which everything else was built. I had been with Michael for nearly half of my life. I never imagined that we wouldn’t grow old together.’
Helen moved on and in 2013, she married Trevor Dawson, an educator, after a three year relationship.
Helen Worth has no children.
