Did the Simpsons predict George death? Simpsons George Floyd

Did The Simpsons predict George death: Claims that The Simpsons predicted George death and that there’s an episode on the show where Lisa Simpson held up a Justice for George sign went viral today on social media.

If you have seen them, these claims are NOT true.

The hoax claims went viral after a Twitter account posted a photo alleged to be from Simpsons episode 146 The Day Violence Died.

It turns out however that “The Day the Violence Died” is the eighteenth episode of The Simpsons’ seventh season. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on March 17, 1996 and has nothing to do with predicting George Floyd death.

Another claim that The Simpsons season 7 episode 13 is a Justice for George Simpsons episode is also not true.

The 13th episode of The Simpsons’ seventh season is titled “Two Bad Neighbors”. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on January 14, 1996.

And in the episode, George H. W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States (voiced by Harry Shearer), moves across the street from the Simpsons. Homer seeks revenge after the former President spanks Bart for his bad behavior.

The Simpsons season 7 episode 13 was inspired by the animosity towards the Simpsons show by the Bushes from earlier in the series’ run.

It features cultural references to the 1959 television series Dennis the Menace and Cheap Trick’s 1979 song “Dream Police”.

Since airing, the episode received positive reviews from television critics, and Vanity Fair named it the fifth best episode of the show. It acquired a Nielsen rating of 9.9, and was the second highest-rated show on the Fox network the week it aired. Watch below:

There is another claim that Simpsons episode 4 from 1993 called Marge in Chains predicts the riots and looting happening in U.S.A 2020 after the flu and the killer hornets.

Truth however is that “Marge in Chains” is the 21st episode of The Simpsons’ fourth season which originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on May 6, 1993.

In the episode, Marge is arrested for shoplifting after forgetting to pay for an item at the Kwik-E-Mart.

At this time, there are no proofs The Simpsons predicted George Floyd death.

A claim that there is a Simpsons episode from 1990 where Chief Wiggum stands on a black man’s neck as Lisa Simpson holds a sign saying “Justice for George” is yet to be proven.

At this time, there are NO proofs that Simpsons predicted George Floyd death.

Instead the picture that has Lisa Simpson holding a Justice for George sign and Wiggam kneeling on George was made by an Instagram cartoon artist called Yuri Pomo.

  2. What a waste of time, the picture is clearly fanart and you have no supporting evidence except your own ‘claims’. Stop distracting from the real issues when you have nothing of value to say.
