Declan Small death, obituary: Declan Small Ballymun Kickhams chairman died December 6, 2019 after a long battle with illness he bravely fought.
He is the father of Dublin Senior Footballers John and Paddy.
Declan Small death was announced by Ballymun Kickhams GAA club on the Northside of Dublin in a statement that read:
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our chairman, great friend and colleague, Mr. Declan Small.
After a long battle with illness bravely fought, Declan passed away yesterday. It is no doubt that our club and indeed our lives are a lot poorer for his passing.
We offer our deepest sympathies to Andrea, Catherine, John and Paddy. A full announcement will be made soon on the arrangements, but suffice to say at this time, our club will not be the same again. RIP Declan.

Only saw him once since, Thurles v the Crokes ‘13.

Very saddened to hear of the the passing of Declan Small, father of Dublin Senior Footballers John and Paddy and chairman of Ballymun Kickhams.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Small family and all Declan’s friends and clubmates in Ballymun Kickhams at this very sad time. RIP
