This gym is more than a place to play and have fun. It builds relationships and community. A HUGE part of the We Rock Edwardsville family has been lost.
Ashley Maynard and her son Vince were killed in a car accident yesterday. Ashly has been a part of the gym since before it began.
She even began working here to help with after school care provided for our community young people.
Ashly was a huge part of the Madison County Special Needs network.
Vince has been here since the beginning as well. He played here, he did camps here, and his big smile and boisterous voice could be seen and heard throughout.
They will be missed.
Hug your family tight today. And be sure and keep Will, her husband and Lucy, Vince’s big sister and “voice”, in your thoughts and prayers.
They’re as much a part of our community as Ashly and Vince.
