In the early morning of Sunday, August 14th, 2022, as the sun was rising, our loved one, Minister Angel Lite Carlos, was embraced in the arms of Christ as she transitioned from this life into life everlasting!
Surrounded by family throughout the night and into the morning, she departed with heaven’s peace, hearing words of love and songs of praise, as was befitting the Life of a Worshipper.
Thank you for praying for our family. In His loving kindness, God answered our prayers by giving us time, relieving her pain, and granting us a few more incredible memories and treasured moments.
In the days ahead, we covet your prayers and patience as we finalize plans and prepare to celebrate her life and legacy. Details will be forthcoming.

Before her passing, Angel served with her husband Rick Carlos at Christian International Church in Lincoln Park New Jersey under the leadership of Pastor Eric Butler. She was also the worship leader for noted author and international teacher Gwen Mouliert of Proclaiming His Word Ministries in Pleasantville New Jersey. Angel travelled extensively in the United States and abroad, ministering in concerts, teaching and leading worship.
Her journey began at the age of 17, when Angel committed her life to Christ and dedicated her vocal gift to God. From there she began leading singing groups and serving as worship leader at churches under the leadership of Dr. David Ireland of Christ Church, Montclair New Jersey, Angel directed a 100 voice choir at New York’s Lincoln Center and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
Angel Lite Carlos’s vocal prowess and style reflected her essense – a life surrounded by the presence of God. As an accomplished worship leader, noted music director and conference speaker, Angel blended her expansive musical career with a life dedicated to serving Jesus Christ. She shared the worship platform with Myles, Monroe, CeCe Winans, Juanita Bynum, Ron Kenoly, Bishop Joseph Garlington, Morris Chapman, Judy Jacobs, Parachute Band, Alvin Slaughter and more.
Angel had also recorded 5 solo projects currently offered on iTunes and Amazon. Her body of work spans the genres of Traditional and Contemporary Christian and Gospel music. In whatever capacity Angel was functioning, there is an acute awareness of the living and abiding realization of Christ in her life experience.
