Andrew Riggs, was a man of so many things and will always be a hero to me for finding my type one diabetes and for helping me regulate it.

it’s so unbelievable because i was just with him last week for my check up… and we had a talk that we were avoiding but needed to have before i go out in the real world which will be soon enough and he told me the facts about what my disease really is, an emotional talk but one that i was most comfortable with talking about with him..

from the age of 8 you have been one of my biggest hero’s and always will be.
