We used to drink garri but you forgot me after you blew – Fireboy’s childhood friend makes demand
An up-and-coming Nigerian singer, Bank Alat has claimed that he and Afrobeats star, Fireboy DML are old-time friends who experienced struggles together.
He took to Twitter (X) to celebrate Fireboy’s 28th birthday on Monday February 5, and reminded him of the time they used to drink garri together.
The young artiste stated that he is entitled to the ‘Peru’ hit maker’s money and as such he deserves to be helped out of the trenches.
According to Bank Alat, after Fireboy DML hit stardom, he forgot about him, so he is still struggling because the music star left him to be hustling alone in the trenches.
He shared a throwback photo of them together and wrote; “Happy birthday Fireboy I remember when you never blow we been dey drink garri together, now you don blow forget me for Trenches I still dey struggle. Omo me I’m entitled to your money oo.”
