Before her death, Tia Zachman was a junior communications major, a student-athlete on the Concordia University Lacrosse team. Tia was on the CU women lacrosse family which she was welcomed into on the 13th of April, 2016.
Tia was born 1998, she was 21 years old.

“The Concordia University, St. Paul community mourns a tragic loss of life. We grieve the passing of junior communications major, Tia Zachman, a student-athlete on the women’s lacrosse team. CSP Ministry staff and counseling services are available to the campus community.
The university asks for thoughts and prayers for her family, friends, teammates, and classmates during this difficult time.
President Ries asks you to join him in expressing our deepest sympathies to everyone who knew and cared for Tia and everyone she loved.
CSP will provide information when it becomes available about funeral arrangements and an on-campus memorial observance.”
