Ronaldo’s alleged split from girlfriend – Footballer’s mum reacts
Dolores Aveiro, the mother of football star Cristiano Ronaldo, has refuted claims that her son and longtime girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, is having problems in their relationship.
According to reports in Spanish and Portuguese media last month, the striker was “fed up” with the Spanish model and influencer and they were said to be on the verge of parting ways.
Georgina, 29, had responded by denying a breakup with her partner of seven years, writing in a social media post, “The jealous makes up a rumour, the gossipy spread it and the idiot believes it.”
Days later, Cristiano, who is 38 years old, shared a picture on Instagram of him kissing Georgina while having dinner and a drink.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s mum also provided information about the relationship to the media present at the function she attended in Funchal, the island’s capital.
Quoted by the Mirror, She said, “It’s all lies,”
“Every couple argues, but what’s been written is a lie.”
